Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum has released a farewell statement to Asante Kotoko confirming his departure from the club after just one season.
The scientific tactician tendered in a resignation letter to Asante Kotoko after a crucial board meeting of which his demands for the upcoming was scrapped off.
According to Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum it is in his best interest and our the club for such a decision.

Ogum was appointed on a two-year deal before the start of last season after leaving WAFA. He guided the team to win their 26th league title in the just ended 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko have begun pre-season training under the direction of youth coach Abdul Gazele. The club will depart o Turkey to continue their season preparations.
The club however are in talks with Burkinabè coach Kalou Malo to take over the vacant role ahead of the new season.
