Champions of Women’s football in Ghana for the 2021/22 seaon Ampem Darkoa LadiesAmpem Darkoa Ladies are set to represent Ghana in next seasons CAF women’s champions league.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies have been drawn in Group B alongside Union Sportive des forces Armees (Burkina Faso), Athleta FC of Togo and Bayelsa Queens of Nigeria in the WAFU-B Zonal qualifiers of the CAF Women’s Champions League.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies defeated former Champions Hasaccas Ladies in back to back finals to emerge champion of women’s football in Ghana.
The draw came off yesterday in Morocco by Confederation of African Football (CAF) officials on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
As per the format of the competition the Winner and Runner up in the WAFU-B qualifiers will represent the Zone in the main competition scheduled for Morocco later in the year.
