Charles Akunnor is a former Black Stars of Ghsna Head Coach and also a former Kumasi Asante kotoko Coach. He has also managed Ghanaian clubs like AshantiGold, Dreams Fc and Accrs Hearts of Oak.
He served Asante Kotoko for nine months after been appointed in 2018 helping them to win the 2019 GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition and qualify for the 2019–20 CAF Champions League.
In July 2019, he was sacked by Asante Kotoko and replaced by Kjetil Zachariassen.
The former Kotoko coach is eyeing a move back to the club after the resignation of their Head Coach Prosper Ogum. In an interview, here’s what Charles Akunnor had to say

Asante Kotoko will embark on a pre season to Turkey with 65 man contingent ahead of preparation for next season.
