The Confederation of African Football has approved the Cape Coast Sports Stadium for Ghana’s 2023 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
The Black Stars of Ghana have been drawn alongside Madagascar, Angola and Central African Republic in the upcoming 2023 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers. Two successful teams from each group will be able to qualify to the Afcon in 2023.
The Cape Coast Sports Stadium which holds a capacity of 20,000 spectators have been approved by CAF as it was earlier rejected.
The Black Stars of Ghana will play its first group game at home to Madagascar on June 1, 2022. After a humiliating exit at the just ended AFCON. Ghana will seek to book qualification to next years Afcon.
AFCON 2023 will be hosted by Ivory Coast.
