After missing out on the previous edition, The Black Queens of Ghana have qualified for the Women’s African Cup of Nations 2024 to be hosted in Morocco.
Ghana defeated Namibia after a 3-2 aggregate scoreline from both legs.
The Black Queens of Ghana recorded a 3-1 win against Namibia at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first Leg of the final round of the Women’s AFCON 2024 Qualifiers.
Coach Nora Hauptiles’s team traveled to South Africa to face Namibia in the return leg on Tuesday. Lydianna Nanamus’s only goal for the game made it 1-0 after full-time but was not enough to book a slot to next year’s AFCON for the team.
Ghana has now become the fourth African after Algeria, South Africa, and hosts Morocco to book qualification to Next years Womens African Cup Of Nations.
