Hearts of Oak stalwart midfielder Benjamin Afutu Kortey and midfield dynamo Fredrick Ansah Botchwey has been ruled out of the Phobians match-week 20 fixture against Inter Allies on Sunday due to accumulation of cards leading to suspension and injury respectively.
Benjamin Afutu Kortey is going to be sideline over the weekend and won’t be spotted in action due to suspension having received yellow card in games against Legon Cities, Berekum Chelsea and AshantiGold SC last week Saturday in Obuasi.
The 24-year-old absence will be a huge blow and miss for the Rainbow club due to how influential he has been to them in the ongoing campaign having netted two goals so far and will want to increase his tally going forward.
Midfield dynamo Fredrick Ansah Botchwey on the other hand has been ruled out of the game against Inter Allies on Sunday due to injury.
The 24-year-old was ruled out of the all-important fixture after being accessed by the club’s medical team earlier this week.
Ansah Botchway has featured 17 times for Hearts of Oak in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season so far
However, the Phobians will have their third defensive midfielder missing this game after Abdul Aziz Nurudeen and Mamani Lawali with Emmanuel Nettey likely to return into the starting line up to fill in the gap left in the midfield.
Hearts of Oak after the painful loss last week are still placed fourth on the league log with 30 points after 19 games in the Ghana Premier League.
