Bechem United have halted their pre-season tour in Europe ahead of the new 2022/2023 BetPawa Ghana Premier League season.
The 2021/22 MTN FA Cup silverlists confirmed plans to have their pre-season preparations offshores but the club officials have called-off the scheduled plans.
The Hunters were sceduled to depart Ghana on 12th July, 2022 to France for their tour to prepare for the new campaign.
The club however has called-off the trip to focus mainly here in Ghana for their pre-season preparations towards the new campaign.
In an interview with Kumasi based Radio Luv FM, club Communication Director Emmanuel Gyasi revealed the reason behind calling off the trip. He said;
“Unfortunately, due to certain reasons beyond our control, we cannot have our initial planned pre-season tour in Europe.
“We’ve kept that on hold and have rescheduled it for another summer. We will have our pre-season here in Ghana.
“At the moment, the team is currently in Accra that’s where we are having our pre-season, just like we did last season.
“We are looking forward to spending at least four weeks here in Accra and finally complete our preparations in Bechem and prepare fully for the 2022/23 season,” He concluded.
Bechem United will lockhorns with Accra Great Olympics in their opener of the 2022/2023 BetPawa Ghana Premier League campaign away at the famous Accra Sports Stadium.
