Prior to Ghana’s game against Central African Republic in the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers,t locally based players have been dropped from the traveling squad to Angola to face Central African Republic.
Accra Heart of Oak’s attacker Daniel Afriyie BarniehDaniel Afriyie Barnieh and Augustine Okrah have all been dropped from the Black Stars squad. The duo failed to make the matchday squad in Ghana’s huge victory over Madagascar on Wednesday.
According to reports gathered by Talksghana.com Augustine Okrah and Daniel Barnieh will join the Black Stars B team as they prepare to face Madagascar in the CHAN qualifiers.
Dennis Korsah of Accra Hearts of Oak who was handed a late call up is now the only local player left in the Black Stars squad to face Central African Republic.
Ghana will play it’s second group game against CAR on Sunday in Angola before traveling to Japan to participate in a four nation tournament.
