AshantiGold SC striker and winner of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League Golden Boot winner Yaw Annor has revealed he believes he can make exploits with the Black Stars if he secures an invitation.
The goalscoring prospect has been very detrimental for AshantiGold SC in the just ended league campaign and numerous reports have linked him to be invited into the Black Stars squad for Qatar 2022.
The Black Stars is currently in preparations for the upcoming world soccer piece with is sceduled to kickoff from November to December 18th, 2022.
Yaw Annor has expressed his delight in the speculations that he could make the squad list for the tournament but has insisted he won’t be suprised if he is snubbed by coach Otto Addo.
“It’s every Ghanaian player’s dream to be in the Black Stars and I am ever ready if am called upon, am training hard for such a moment.
“I will not be extremely suprised if I miss out on the squad list but it will rather encourage me to do better and work hard and surely one day I will hope make it.
“It was a tough league campaign and am proud of myself for emerging as the goalking. It was a very difficult season” Yaw Annor said in an interview with Akoma FM.
Yaw Annor scored a brace on the final day of the Ghana Premier League against Bibiani GoldStars as he pipped Asante Kotoko’s Frank Mbella Etouga for the award.
