Black Stars skipper Andre Dede Ayew has issued a plea to amass massive support for newly crowned 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko ahead of their participation in the CAF Champions League next season.
Asante Kotoko will be Ghana’s representative in next season’s Africa’s soccer piece after their exploits in this year’s Ghana Premier League.
Andre Ayew congratulated the Porcupine Warriors after winning the GPL and promised to give them the necessary support as they gear up for next season’s CAF championship campaign.
“Asante Kotoko won the league after a fantastic run of performances, congratulations to them.
“We know their one of big team’s that we have in Ghana of which they just showed.
“We will be behind them and pray for them to do something great in Africa and make the country proud” Dede Ayew said during the Calcio Trade Ball awards.
Asante Kotoko amazed a whopping 67 points as they clinched their 26th GPL title.
