Ghana Premier league defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko have suffered their 1st defeat of the 2022/23 Betpawa Premier league season.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko lost 2-0 to Bechem United at the Fosu Gyeabour Park in their outstanding match on Wednesday.
The host scored their first goal from a Kofi Agbesimah 23rd minute Penalty kick in the first half of the game. Prolific striker Emmanuel Avornyo also scored in the 63rd minute to put the game beyond reach for the vistors.
Today’s win will push Bechem United forward on the league table while Kotoko will drop points for the first time this season.
