Ghana Premier league cbampions Kumasi Asante Kotoko has appointed Burkinabe trainer, Seydou Zerbo, as the club’s new head coach after the resignation of former Head Coach Prosper Ogum.
Seydou Zerbo signed a one-year contract with an option for a further 12 months depending on results with Kotoko.
Zerbo is expected to guide the team in next Seasons CAF Champions league competition which kotoko are expecting to get to the group stage.
Seydou Zerbo begun his coaching career in 2013-14 with Rail Club du Kadiogo.
He managed Bankuy Sports from 2014 to 2016 before heading to SONABEL and giants ASFA Yennenga.
Zerbo’s last Club side was Union Sportive des Forces Armées before managing CHAN side of Burkina Faso at the 2020 tournament (exited at Group stage))
Kotoko has cancelled their trip to Turkey and are expected to play Al Hilal of Sudan in a pre Season friendly before the start of the season.
