President Akufo-Addo has appointed former Deputy Minister Education Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum as the substantive minister for the Education Ministry.
Also former Deputy Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Godfred Yeboah Dame has been appointed as the Minister-designate for Justice and Attorney General.
He replaces his former boss, Gloria Akuffo who will not be part of President Akufo-Addo’s next government in his second term.
Former Deputy Minister of Education, Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has also been elevated as the substantive Minister of Education. He replaces his former boss Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh who’s moving to the Energy Ministry.
Meanwhile, Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya Constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo has been appointed as Minister-designate for Gender, Children, and Social Protection.
Adwoa Safo will replace Cynthia Mamle Morrison who has been the Minister in charge of the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection since 2018.
The President has also made appointments to the 16 regions.
