Hearts Of Oak Communications Director Kwame Opare Addo has issued a plea to Black Stars coach Otto Addo to give an opportunity to Afriyie Barnieh in the next games.
Afriyie Barnieh was the second home-based forward who was invited into the Black Stars for the AFCON 2023 qualifiers and preparation friendlies towards the Qatar World Cup in December.
The Hearts of Oak forward has received a lot of praises and supports from some former Ghanaian Internationals after mind-blowing performances in the Ghana Premier League.
According to the Astute Journalist, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has proved himself uncountable times and his blistering run of form in the Ghana Premier League makes him deserve a spot in the starting eleven.
“We all know Barnieh is a very fantastic player who is ready to showcase his worth to everybody. His numbers are there and he keeps on performing week in week out.
“He can replicate the performance that most of the boys did in the game when he is given the opportunity. Otto Addo should keep an eye on him and give him the chance. He deserves to play” Opare Addo told Happy FM.
The Black Stars are set to depart to Angola to face Central African Republic in their second game of the 2023 African Cup qualifiers after defeating Madagascar on Wednesday 1st June, 2023.
