Accra Hearts of Oak have signed Accra Great Olympics talisman Maxwell Abbey Quaye on the transfer deadline day for new the 2022/2023 BetPawa Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians struck an agreement with the city rivals on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
Abbey Quaye is understood to have penned a three-year contract after agreeing personal terms with the Rainbow side.
The 23 year-old has been one the most consistent performers in the Ghana Premier League where he scored 10 goals.
Hearts Of Oak managed to beat the transfer deadline to acquire the services of the dazzling forward to bolster their squad for the new season.
The player currently with the Black Galaxies is expected to join the Phobians pre-season shortly after national assignment.
Hearts of Oak will compete for honours not only on the domestic scene but in Africa as well where the club will represent Ghana in the CAF Confederations Cup.
