Midfield orchestra Abdul Latif Anabila has ruled out joining Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window.
The former Asante kotoko midfielder has decided against the possibility of resigning for the Porcupine Warriors after an unsuccessful first spell.
Latif Anabila had a difficult campaign with Asante Kotoko when he joined them in the in January 2020 from AshantiGold SC after explosive performances had his contract terminated ahead of the just ended 2021/ 2022 league season.
Anabila signed a short-term deal with Bechem United and was very detrimental for the Hunters as they secured top four finish and runner-ups in the 2022 MTN FA Cup.
In an interview with Akoma 87.9 FM, Latif Anabila said;
“My doors are opened to joining any club because my contract with Bechem United has come to and end but honestly speaking, it will be very difficult to return to Asante Kotoko, I am not sure that will happen.
“I came to Kotoko because of the supporters. They showed me so much when I joined the club but I will say all what they heard about me was not true.”
“I have so much respect for Asante Kotoko and their marvellous supporters, but I feel so much disappointed that the fans (Kotoko supporters) did not listen to my side of the story after hearing several issues and concluded,” He stressed.
Latif Anabila made 18 appearances for Asante Kotoko in all competitions last season.
