Ghanaian young teenage player and Reigning Africa U20 best player Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been sent back to Sporting Lisbon Reserve side ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The Ghanaian youngster completed his transfer to Sporting after sealing a permanent contract from Tamale-based Steadfast Football ClubSteadfast Football Club in February 2022.
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku started pre season with Sporting Club where he featured in a couple of friendly games. Fataw will join the likes of players like Dário Essugo, Youssef Chermiti, Diego Callai and Flávio Nazinho in Sporting’s reserve side.
Even though the Ghanaian has been dropped to the reserve side, he may still be called to the senior team whenever the need arises.
Abdul Fatawu Isshaku will represent Ghana at the 2022 FiFa world Cup in Qatar after been part of the team that helped the Black Stars gained qualification over Nigeria.
