Five players of the G.O sports Academy in the Ho municipality have been scouted into Kenpong Academy based in Winneba in the Central Region.
The players were scouted by former Blackstars head coach Kwesi Appiah, Francis Oti-Akenteng former Technical Director of GFA, Coach Ato Bortse, Chief scout Eben Sefah and Fred Gidiglo.
The players scouted are Sheriff Amadu, Ignatius 0pare, Opoku John, Isaiah Fordjour, and Maxwell.
They were invited two weeks ago to justify their inclusion with other players from other parts of Ghana. Fortunately, all five were picked.
Chief Executive of G.O sports Academy, Mr. George Ofori has granted permission for the boys to join Kenpong Academy. The same boys were part of the team that won the national Milo championship 3 years ago.
G.O Sports Academy is based in the Ho municipality that participates in the Ho municipal Juvenile League.
The dreams and ambitions of establishing the G.O sports Academy are to impact the lives of young players and change the narrative of how society has about street boys.
G.O Sports Academy won the just ended Juvenile League for all the U13,15 and 17 categories. The U17 team will be playing in the Regional League and the FA Cup next season.
