AshantiGold SC played out a hard fought 2-2 all draw with Accra Lions at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium this afternoon.
The Miners desperate to continue their winning ways broke the deadlock on the 23 minute through hot goalscoring prospect Yaw Annor to give the home side the lead.
Accra Lions impressively came hard in the second half of the game and was able to grab the equaliser on minute 64 courtesy of a powerful strike from Eric Okyere.
With the game heading into a draw, Yaw Annor again proved to be the ideal man scoring on the 89th minute of the game to restore AshantiGold’s lead.
Shaukan Mohammed broke the home side’s heart in additional time,leveling the game for the visitors and ensuring Accra Lions walked away with a point.
